Introduction of Texsun Solar Panel for Swimming Pool

Solar energy is the cleanest and most inexhaustible of all known energy sources. Solar radiation is the heat, light and other radiation that is emitted from the sun. It contains huge amounts of energy and is responsible for almost all the natural processes on earth.

Solar energy is an excellent alternative for heating a pool. It is also the most environmentally friendly way to heat your pool.

The pool season coincides with the optimal time of the year for making use of solar energy and the X-FLOW system only needs to work at relatively low temperatures. Pools often only need to be 27-30 °C.

Difference between glazed and unglazed solar panel

		Glazed solar panel is made of glass in a form of flat plate or evacuated glass tube (see left). It is designed for permanent installation on-roof or on-ground for all season heating use, especially suitable for domenstic hot water system.
		Unglazed solar panel (Texsun) is made of durable UV resistance flexible polymer material and may be permanently installed on the roof or temporary on garden. It is suitable for outdoor swimming season between May and September. The key benefit is low installation cost.

Can Texsun solar panel work in Winter?

Glazed solar panel, which relies on a special anti-freeze chemical to prevents freezing (or overheating), we use heat exchanger module that exchange heats between the solar heating fluid and the swimming pool water. This type of technology suit best for all season indoor swimming pool as well as domestic hot water supply (ie hot shower).

On other hand, the Texsun solar panel is designed to heats swimming pool water directly from the solar rays. If not properly drained, it would suffer damages during the winter season. However for most pool user, the outdoor swimming season takes places between May and September.

Can X-Flow be use for above-ground pool?

How X-Flow solar collector work?

(a) The heat from the sun radiation is absorbed by the Texsun collectors which are made from durable and lime deposit-resistant Polymer.

(b) As soon as the temperature in the collectors is higher than the pool temperature, the control circuit opens up the water flow and the heating system is in operation.

(c) The circulation pumps the water through the collectors for heating and then back to the pool.

How long will the X-Flow solar panel last?

The secret of the Texsun panel contain an ultraviolet screening material called inhibitors. The actual mix of the inhibitors is generally a manufacturer’s secret; but properly protected collectors should last 10 to 15 years.
